The Rotterdam Lab 2026 is a program for emerging international film producers seeking to expand their professional network and develop feature-length projects with international co-production potential. It is open to independent producers, freelancers, or junior producers in production companies, with no age limit, who have completed at least two short films and are working on their first or second feature.
The program prioritizes diversity and inclusion, especially welcoming applicants from minority, indigenous, LGBTQIA+, neurodiverse, disabled communities, or underrepresented regions in the international film industry.
Selected participants receive full access to IFFR Pro and CineMart 2026, including accreditation for meetings, screenings, networking events, and five nights of accommodation. Travel expenses are not covered.
The lab takes place during the International Film Festival Rotterdam, from late January to early February 2026. Applicants must submit an application form, CV, and motivation letter, with an optional portfolio or dossier. The main focus is on the international potential of the project and the producer’s ability to contribute to and benefit from the lab.

Lab - IFFR
MIA 2025 is now accepting submissions from producers with development projects in the Animation, Documentary, Drama, and Film categories. Up to 50 international projects will be selected, aiming for co-production, financing, or pre-sale agreements. Eligible projects must be intended for theatrical release, television broadcast, or digital streaming platforms. The submission deadline is June 19, 2025, by 5:00 PM CEST.
Selected projects will participate in the Pitching Forum during the event, held in Rome from October 6 to 10, 2025. They will also be eligible for the MIA Development Awards, each offering a €5,000 cash prize per category.
Participation is open to lead producers with a registered production company. Multiple projects may be submitted, provided each meets the eligibility criteria. All materials must be submitted in English.

La Hollywood Storytellers Script Competition es un concurso internacional de guion abierto a largometrajes, cortometrajes y pilotos de TV en cualquier género. El plazo para inscribir guiones termina el 2 de noviembre de 2025. Los guiones deben enviarse en inglés, en formato PDF y respetando los límites de páginas según la categoría. El jurado está formado por profesionales de la industria cinematográfica de grandes estudios como Disney, Netflix y Warner Bros. In collaboration with the film project incubator RUTA CRÍTICA, the Puerto Rico Film Festival invites the community of PUERTO RICO filmmakers to PRFF PITCH'24, as part of its INDUSTRIA PRFF'24 efforts. In this edition we seek to give exposure to fiction feature films and documentary feature films in development, in front of international and national professionals from the Industry, for feedback and the possibility of collaboration, development or co-production.

El American Film Market (AFM) 2025 se llevará a cabo del 11 al 16 de noviembre en Los Ángeles, California. Es uno de los mercados cinematográficos independientes más importantes del mundo, donde se generan acuerdos de distribución, financiación y promoción por valor de miles de millones de dólares.
