Impulso CMM Desarrollo 2025, organized by Abycine Lanza with Castilla-La Mancha Media, supports feature film projects (fiction, documentary, or animation) in the development stage. It targets production companies registered with the ICAA, including international co-productions. Up to 20 projects will be selected to participate in training, mentoring, public pitching, one-to-one meetings, and industry networking. Two grants of €17,250 will be awarded to support production linked to Castilla-La Mancha, alongside awards in collaboration with ECAM, Porto/Post/Doc, and Music Library & SFX. The event will take place within Abycine Lanza in Albacete from October 21–24, 2025. Applications are open until July 15, 2025, via Eventival, with a €300 participation fee for selected projects. The Laboratory is a consolidated academic event that is renewed every year. It has a panel of national and international experts, aimed at strengthening the development of projects, from an accurate professional and updated vision of cinematographic reality.
Every year FICTION FEATURE FEATURE FEATURE FEATURE PROJECTS are selected to provide screenwriters, directors and producers with a vital and enriching experience that will strengthen their projects and motivate them to carry them out.
The group of participants will have all the bases to argue their project, present an excellent pitch to the jury, and function properly in similar scenarios, at a national and international level.
They are days of concentrated work, group workshops and personalized tutoring, with experts in development, script, production, pitch, exhibition and distribution.

Pitch XR - Mediamorfosis
TVP has opened submissions for the pitching sessions of the Heart of Europe Forum 2025, which will take place in Warsaw, Poland, from September 30 to October 3, 2025. This call is aimed at filmmakers and TV creators from Central and Eastern Europe, including countries like Poland, Ukraine, Hungary, Romania, and others.
The available categories are fiction film, TV series, and documentary. Projects at any stage of development—from initial concept to near-completion—are welcome. Up to ten projects per category will be selected to present before an international jury and audiovisual industry professionals.
Participation is free, and selected projects will have the chance to showcase their work to producers, distributors, festival representatives, and broadcasters, enhancing opportunities for funding, co-production, and distribution. The submission deadline is June 30, 2025.
This is a valuable opportunity to boost the visibility of regional audiovisual production on the international market and to build important industry connections.

Heart of Europe Forum
The New Female Filmmakers Laboratory, organized by DETOUR and Montevideo Audiovisual in collaboration with AUSTRALAB, targets emerging Uruguayan female directors working on their first or second feature film. Projects can be fiction, documentary, or hybrid, but must be directed exclusively by women. The laboratory offers personalized mentorship, masterclasses, and opportunities to advance selected projects. It will take place from October 7 to 19, 2025, in a hybrid format with virtual and in-person sessions, and attendance at in-person meetings is mandatory. Participation is free, with up to six projects selected. Prizes include participation at Tres Puertos 2026 and an artistic residency at Villa Soriano. Applicants must be Uruguayan female directors with no more than one feature film directed and have a project in development with a written treatment. The call encourages the growth of female authors in national cinema.
