Chile Short - Market
Working JIIFF, the industry platform of the José Ignacio International Film Festival, opens the call for a new edition of Generation J, a workshop designed to promote the training of professional screenwriters and directors of Uruguayan fiction under the age of 32.
Guided by local and international experts, the selected emerging Uruguayan talents will conceptualize and develop their projects. José Ignacio serves as a meeting space to inspire stories.

JIIFF - Generation J
Ibermedia promotes the distribution and circulation of non-national films from Ibero-American cinemas within the national territories of distribution companies. This is achieved through proposals that implement traditional, non-traditional, or hybrid distribution and exhibition models, incorporating innovative and creative forms of in-person distribution and/or exhibition. These proposals must also include a promotion and audience plan, aiming to bring Ibero-American cinema closer to regional audiences.

Since our founding, Chicken & Egg Films has awarded over $14 million in grants and devoted thousands of hours of creative mentorship to over 500 filmmakers from around the world. Films supported by our work have been nationally and internationally recognized with the industry’s highest honors, including Academy Awards, Emmy Awards, and Peabody Awards. And they have raised visibility and driven social change on urgent issues.
